Re: Do bloggers believe in material

Obsession for anything is not good; we need to keep our minds realitively normal.  I enjoyed this blog much.

It depends on how one defines, "obsession" - if Mother Teresa was "obsessed" (because of her strong faith), to help ease the suffering of the poor and sick, then I would call that a healthy, noble, productive obsession - but there are obviously bad ones, too.

I've never really had a whole lot to be materially obsessed with.  For that matter, I haven't had a lot to be sexually obsessed with either.

Anyway....balance is better.  It's not good to be obsessed with any one thing for too long.

I do believe in material, actually, because humans are not
just this thought floating in the air; we do have physical bodies. But, naturally, I am not sexually obsessed...

afzal

It is never hard to find God.  He is present in the rain, the sun, the sky, the good earth and in the heart of those who seek Him.

Materialism and sexual obsessions are temptations.. God knows all things.. He is open to us all.

Hey afzal thats what I think  Blessings to you.

It's never impossible,
but it does become more difficult. The work of today's modern saints is an important and difficult one.
