Terpgirl another music trivia

Which rock/jazz fusion band performed a song dedicated in part to Astronaut Michael Collins?

(HINT: his name's in the title)

HINT: The band leader played flute on one leg

I love "Blister In The Sun", or pretty
much all Violent Femmes in general.

Never heard it.
I don't want to see Lucy or Peppermint Patty on junk, though...

Ha! I remember that one -- I think
it was the Valentine Dance for the class, or something. Poor old Charlie Brown could have easily been singing something like "Add it up"...'Why can't I get just one kiss....'

Re: That's a take I never thought of before, and it's awesome,
In particular, I keep coming up to this one party at Franklin's house where Charlie Brown was trying to get to the little red haired girl.  Sometimes I think I'm just plain nuts.

That's a take I never thought of before, and it's awesome,
not that I'm a genius by any stretch of the imagination.

But, heck yeah, I could easily describe the Femmes as "sort of like Vince Giraldi on crack," or something. And the visual, all those kids dancing on the school stage to "Blister in the Sun," or "Add it Up," instead of "Lucy and Linus" is just priceless.

I'm going to be re-running that in my head all day...Yikes!
