Enjoyed your post

I really enjoyed your post since I was born and raised in California. It was fun to see the differences. I have never been to Ireland so it is fun reading stories about life in other countries.

Re: I was quite nervous at first, too.
Hey Mademoiselle,

Thanks for the support. I actually got a little more comfortable already and changed my entry :)

A Public Holiday is often called a Bank Holiday in Ireland (and the UK) (because the banks close!), we have one every month or so and they're usually on a Monday which means lots of people have a "long weekend".

I was quite nervous at first, too.

However over time you really start to feel the therapeutic benefits.

What's the "May Bank Holiday", btw?

P.S. Welcome to Blogit.

I guess one of the funniest memories of my grandfather was the time
I was at his house and that tied-up man with the gag in his mouth
came hopping out of the closet
and started yelling that HE was really my grandfather
and the other guy was an imposter and to run for help.
Who was that guy?!
Oh, well, never saw HIM again.
