I know.  I hear you.  What you're asking is:  Can a leopard change his spots?  Well.....  I knew a lady once of whom befriended a murderer in jail.  She was a reporter and interviewed him.  Over time she fell in love with him.  After he was released from prison, they began a love affair.  She went missing for over 48 hours.  They found her car by the side of the road.  He lead investigators to her body.  So, I dunno.  What I'm saying here is this.... once someone has experienced something, it's imprinted on their brain, it's there for life.  There's no escapting it.  He pushed the boundaries, felt the adrenaline rush.........  Trust is a heavy burden to learn.

Re: Live2Write
The question I always struggle with is... Is this a permanent situation or can there be anything that turns it around and brings him back some day? Is love really an eternal feeling? Or can it really fade away forever? I am romantic, naive... I would love to find out that fairy tales can be created in real life if we try, want and fight for what we love!

My two cents for what it's worth.  Emotionally, when spouses behave in this way, they've left their mates.  Looking forward to reading you.  Welcome to Blogit.  --Mary

Re: If you can leave him, do it right away, it may seems hard, but if you don't

I replied, since I do not want to change the rythm I am giving to my blog, and it has not gotten here yet. But so you know, I have been separated from him for more than a year now. That night/morning I confronted him and next day I packed all his belongings and sat them at the door so he would pick them up before the girls returned from school... Keep reading my blog to find out the details...
