There have been times in the past when forecasted earnings have been adjusted downwards, mostly due to seasonal influences but for other reasons as well. Most people simply have never noticed or have never fully understood the earnings forecast system. I had all of 20 visits to all of my blogs this past weekend, it was unusually slow as it is sometimes. A downwards adjustment such as you experienced is the inevitable byproduct.

I guess the earnings aren't final until the end of the month (or when they
finally do the final calculation), before that, it's always "Forecast" earnings... and just take weather forecast for example, it's never accurate.

Hi Sunny...I think they do some kind of projection as to how much money
you will make depending on your history and sometimes they adjust it if they overprojected. I read this somewhere here.
