You have a big dilemma. I fully understand your concerns, your home sounds idyllic. Think very carefully before you uproot. Your family sounds happy where you are and your finances are in order. The driving maybe a chore but possiblily worth it. I moved to a very practical house and frequently regret leaving a beautiful, unique old property/home.

I have been up this road too...
but know that moving is not all that bad and its good to be in a neighbourhood where you have community - for yourself and the children. As for the finances, don't worry. if you want to make it hpen you can. Trust me. As Nike says, 'Just Do It'!
