Rob,
how much do houses go there in Australia? Here in Belgium they are EXPENSIVE! We just bought a flat for 165,000 euro - and hope to sell our house for about 170,000 (or a bit more). And then we are not talking about a newly built flat or a new house. The house is about 100 years old, the appartment building was built in the 1970's. At the coast, prices are even higher! You can't buy a flat there for less than 200,000 euro and they even go up into the millions.

I like the Shire. Actually I think Bundanoon's a kind of cool place.

Rob
Housing is cheaper in the Shire!!! and there's water-ways everywhere. Cronulla is a great place for surf sand and you know what.

Is your back playing you up again, Rob? Getting up from your desk every twenty minutes or so and just strolling round the room might help with that.
It's too bad I don't live in Oz, mate. I used to massage Mick's neck for him-he injured it when he was fifteen years old after being slammed into a rock by a wave while he was surfing-and he told me I was pretty good at it.
If you have a heating pad or hot water bottle in your office or at home, try those too.
One other interesting thing that might help is a corn pad. My Roommie has one. It's a cloth sack filled with corn. You toss it in the microwave (if you happen to have one) and heat it until warm-but don't get it too hot.
If you're interested in one of these, send me an email and if you like I'll see if I can dash one off to you.
Anyway, hope it's not playing you up too much, Peachy.
I know what you mean about wanting a house with a garden and a spa bath. Now that would really do wonders for your back!! As for cats, I still have two. I really want a dog, though.
Here's to hoping you find the ramshackled beach house of your dreams, mate.
Hey, have you ever been to Nobody's Beach?
Let me know about that corn bag. Keep well.

I love buildings too
It seems that you, like many of us, want so many things at one time. Oh, the choicces we have to make.
