So true, Rob!! So true!! I'm sure there are dogs who do eat chocolate every now and again, but they really shouldn't. What most dog owners don't realise is that chocolate can kill a dog.
It isn't cholesterol that kills them, it's the caffeine. Their response to it is the equivelent of a human having a massive heart attack.
I still miss Sparky.(Charles' nickname)...I still love reading PEANUTS in the Sunday comic section and I know Charles and Snoopy are smiling down on those they've touched from Heaven.

Yes it was the cartoonist himself who said this. I don't recall Snoopy having an inclination towards chocolate. Do dogs eat chocolate?

And if so, is that a quote from the man himself?
Or from, like, Snoopy or somebody?
I bet one legend that keeps recurring throughout history,
in every culture, is the story of Popeye.
