Yes we do, our choice. Funny how things have not really changed over the years

Re:Johnmacnab
I think we would be surprised to see how much as been planned out and set into motion for us. I am not sure I want to know.

Its so true Justi,we are responsible for the way our lives
and afterlife turn out. Our free choice determines the consequences. It can also be seen in the light of human relationships. My husband loves me and because I love him back we try not to make choices that hurt each other. When either of us hurt each other then we both suffer. It says very clearly in the bible that if one sheep goes astray God leaves the 99 to search for the lost one and bring him home. So when we sin we hurt ourselves and God.
As for the constant wars and other treachery. I have no idea why man refuses to learn from the mistakes of the past. Thanks for sharing your insight with us in such a well-written post.

I think God is a pragmatist. He gives us life and we more or less create our own destiny. Mine is to avoid hell at all cost..but I do not fear death, I do not fear God, but I sure do love him..

Oh, dear Jlusti................
I try so hard every day of my life to avoid that place. Of course, I know that we make our own eternity.
Justi, would you believe me that I know, through a very near-death experience that I'm not going there? Since that experience, I don't fear death. When God calls me, I'll go easy.
Of course, I'll have no choice, right? hahaha
I wish I knew my bible like you do, sweet lady. God bless.

So many do not believe that for a moment. It has to be somebody's fault. Thanks for reading.
