Bah Humbug

The purpose of religion has always been about controlling the masses, and I ain't talkin' about Sunday school.

Man is free to think what he will, you can chain my body but you cannot control my mind without my permission.  Step outside the Judeo/Christian/Islamic triage and see the universe for what it is. A jumble of chaos just waiting to delite you or defy you, all depends on a roll of the dice.

I don't know if you've been following the whole Shilpa Shetty/Richard Gere "scandolous kiss" issue, over there in India, but that kind of "governing" or "justice" is way too conservative, even for my tastes - and that's saying a lot!

Interesting Post...
I find that most Christians are blind to how truly confining moral laws are.  They believe that these laws will free the human spirit.  Life has showed me that the truth is otherwise.  These laws seem to promote close mindedness and hate.  If Christians were honest they would admit that laws such as, "Thy shall not murder" are not moral but a matter of survival.   The human race recognizes the need to protect his or her own life.  Thus the collective repulsion towards murder.
