I'm so glad I looked at the pictures of the house in the hills before I read this post.  I could see them in my mind all the while you were writing here.  What a lovely place to live or to paint.

A pleasure to have you visit my blog.  Imphal is in the north east of the country, about 3 hours by plane. It's also a lovely part of India.  When I am there next, Iwill definitely look up your brother's grave. Peace.

It's one of my dreams to see the Himalayas some day. Sounds beautiful Greenfields. I'm looking forward to seeing your art.

Thank you for visiting me so I could find you and enjoy your wonderfully written Blog my friend. That sounds like a lovely place you visited. I wonder how far away is Imphal? My brother Michael Edmund, is buried there in British War Cemetary, he was in R.C.A.F serving with the R.A.F during the war and was shot down at Karachi. Now it's kind of like talking with a neighbour.
