Many religious people then believe that God is angry with man and man must therefore change...from there they try to influence changes through government legislatating laws to "force" society to behave better, and these laws do a diservice to man and God. They go against the freedom of conscience God gave each one of us. The world has always undergone changes, both in climate and in landscape/ocean changes, and man has to be careful not to change society through force just to "appease the gods or God." God works individually in the hearts of man...
