And thank you very much.

Of course, Ariala ... or I'd have to consider changing this blog's category.

Mademoiselle
Hope you have a wonderful birthday (better than you 8th and 12th, in any event).  Happy birthday!

I hope you got Freddie's present before hand, MM

Something about those Chuckie Cheese characters always reminded me of Stepford Wives, lol.

Belated Happy Birthday!

Oh, wow, now that you've mentioned that, I totally see the it.
I can't believe I missed that.

"Sooooo", how was your day?

Um, bandana, did you not notice that they were both in black and white?

Musty-tasting, YPunday?

I certainly wouldn't know.

Yeah, it reminded me of Fellini's "8 1/2", too, but I still don't
see too much of Bergman's "Wild Strawberries" influence. I liked that movie, though.

posted by bandanafish on April 20, 2007 at 11:24 PM | link to this | reply

Because its derivative of Bergman's "Wild Strawberries" (not to mention, Fellini's "8 1/2").

posted by Mademoiselle on April 20, 2007 at 11:17 PM | link to this | reply

How can you compare this to Bergman?
Bergman is super heavy. I guess the reason why I love this movie so much, is because Sandy (Woody Allen's character) likes the same things I like.

posted by bandanafish on April 20, 2007 at 11:11 PM | link to this | reply

I liked it a lot, but didn't quite love it.

Even though it was pretty funny, it felt a tad Bergman-lite.

I'm watching the
balloon part again. It's so beautiful. I'm going to skip to the ending, where he talks about how that moment with Dory, the music, the nice breeze... all clicked to him in a perfectly profound way, and he felt really happy.

Moon, have you been drinking again?
Or, perhaps I should say ... have you ever stopped (since yesterday)?

Is the movie over yet, T?

Re: I'm totally confused.

The Fish provided the information that you are celebrating your 8th birthday this year. The latest that you will become legal by, most standards, is 18 – assuming that Court doesn’t consider your……uh……mental and emotional state. So…..not later than 10 years from now. NewMoon

I think he's saying you are immature,
however, I'm not sure.

(You're welcome, moon-something.)

I'm totally confused.

Fish

Technically – legally – legalistically – 10 years (depending on the State) – if we ignore the mental and emotional issues. NewMoon

You know, had it been Jasper T. Jowls who had caught on fire,

it wouldn't have been so bad ... seeing as he plays to hateful age-old stereotypes about southerners.

Moon-something (since you change your name so often), I don't get
it. What do you mean?

I'm SO sorry to hear about your 8th b-day party tragedy. It must
have left a terrible scar in you, sort of like, Debbie, from Addams Family Values.

Debbie: "All I ever wanted was a Ballerina Barbie in her pretty pink tutu. My Birthday, I was 10, and do you know what they got me, MALIBU Barbie, that's not what I wanted, that's not who I was, I was a *Ballerina*, graceful, delicate, THEY had to go!"

Sadly not, Sunny ... because it took me forever to find where they were hidden.

And by the time I did, I no longer had the energy.

A sheep? What do I want with a sheep?

That's more of a gift for a lonely mountain man from Arkansas.

Legal for what, Moon?

posted by Mademoiselle on April 20, 2007 at 9:53 PM | link to this | reply

Thank you, Reflection ...

And nope, no gifts as of yet.

Even worse, I've seen most of the wrapped packages ... and none of them even remotely resemble a pony.
