Timmy
My daughter is reaching the dating age and we are taking it one day at a time. I think as parents we have to let them to explore. After the age of 18, that is. Unless it is an abusive situation, then you hard on the scuzz ball.

It is strange how we don't think the advice that we get is good.....we always seem to know better. What we fail to recognize is that our elders have already been down the path that we travel.

AT THE END OF THE DAY SHE HAS TO BE THE HAPPY. BUT AS A PARENT FOR SOME REASON THEY ALWAYS KNOW BETTER. I SAY PARENTS EVEN THOUGH I AM ONE IS BECAUSE I NEVER WANTED TO BELIEVE MY MOTHER AND I AM STILL KIND OF YOUNG STILL IN NEED OF SOME GOOD ADVICE. SO LET HER DATE THIS PERSON AND SHE WILL SOON IT IS NOT RIGHT FOR HER. SHE WILL THANK YOU LATER FOR. OLDER PEOPLE ARE SET IN THEIR WAYS. RIGHT NOW SHE MAY NOT BE. GOOD LUCK

thats just the way grandmothers are, they are in the dark ages, my mom was always on my kids about who they dated, and that is one reason she knew nothing of my personal life. Now what the heck does age have to do with anything, I like age differences.

The same old story.... The world should make me happy. Selfishness is wide spread. She has no obligation to be the source of happiness for anyone if it is outside her heart and desires. Good post.
