Thanks for the question. Many, many who claim to be Christian offer lip service. Do you know what I mean?
Many want to believe but offer themselves to disobey. I believe the Holy Bible says do not remarry! If a marriage is not good for reasons of cruelty, dishonor, unfaithfulness then divorce can take place. HOWEVER, that Bible believing Christian is not eligilbe for remarriage. NOW HOW MANY REMARRY? Very many remarry.
Mankind/womankind demonstrate vulnerability. God knows our hearts, knows our mind, forgives and judges.
Thats my understanding friend!

I can't say there is any right or wrong answer here. It can vary a lot by the circumstances.
Most marriages don't end peacefully, at least not here.
