I guess it would depend on what the misunderstanding was, and how deeply it has affected the person.
I guess A. definitely...other than that, it depends.
If I had deeply hurt someone, I would explain my reasoning, or my failure to understand.
If E. is valid and an option, maybe that too.
I guess whatever the situation, I would do whatever it takes to heal any feelings that may have been hurt.
Like I said, it depends on the situation....sometimes just saying sorry is enough. Other times, it may take some real time spent with the person, just loving them and paying special attention to them for a while, to ensure they know they are loved and nothing is hurting the relationship.
