for me
it doesn't matter what faith you believe in or hold on to. i think people should not judge each other by the faith that others have. we are all just still human beings; treat each other with respect and unconditional love. who are we to judge others? i believe every faith strongly believes that you should love one another.. and afzal.. i think you have shown that by not judging your brother. great post.

Afzal, I think the prophets in every religion have said that what is important is to love God, love your fellow man, serve one another and be good to one another. They stress compassion, kindness, being non-judgmental. Let people do what they want. What’s important for my soul is my relationship with God, not what other people are doing. Blessings, MoonSpirit

afzal, it should always be a matter of choice..too many people have
been completely turned off by being "pushed" into whatever "religion" the rest of the family was into...

We Are All One
I don't think the Power of the Universe cares what we call it. When we get people confused with that loving, nonjudgemental energy, we get faith confused with religion. Often religion has nothing to do with faith.
It was once said, "I can tell who your "god" is by the way you treat me."

I think you have the right attitude...faith is a matter of choice and
people should be accepted no matter what choice they make.

Afzal
I think it's very good of you, and you have made a wise decision.
It sounds like your brother is very passionate about his faith, and that is all that is really important.
