Religion and food restriction
As nearly as I can tell, all religions are designed to
control their believer's behavior, and purse strings and many declare food taboos that promise eternal misery for ignoring the church's edicts. The things that people will believe based on faith
alone, make me wonder about their intelligence. Many remarkably intelligent people appear willing to suspend skepticism and disbelief on the hope for eternal life, another common promise. Guy

I live in a VERY Catholic town...I was so glad Lent was over..These people quit everything fun. Of course I still have to deal with fish every Friday night at the local restaurants..I remember a Seinfeld where Kramer caught the Jewish girl eating lobster...then made omelettes with the rest of it...I will never understand the "FOOD" part of religion..but then again, I wouldn't be good at fasting either...Happy Easter..
