I'm not familiar with what he said about Cuba but to me Mandela's an extraordinary man who played a key role in focusing on a peaceful transition of power in South Africa with emphasis on reconciliation rather than violent recrimination.

Great words...
Though the impact is less for me because of Mandela's skewed views. By skewed, I am referring to his backing of Castro and his Communist regimen while at the same time fighting for democracy and civil rights for South Africa. You see I'm a Cuban living in exile in the U.S. and the wound is still raw.
