Because of my own, accident-related, experience with our Canadian health care, I can certainly second what you say. Whatever is wrong with the system, the people are fantastic, which is admirable since they're often working under less than ideal conditions!
I do hope your Mom will fully recover soon, and wish you and your family a HAPPY EASTER!

Straightforward
We have been blessed with terrific caregivers, both in hospitals and the nursing home where my Dad stayed until he passed in November. There are still some great people out there.
