To say it's not the religion, but the people who (mis)interpret it, seems like a strange argument to me - for it is people, and yes, that includes Mark, Matthew, Luke, and John of the Christian bible - who supposedly, after having had personal relationships and/or conversations with God (or having had listened to His monologues!), who write the religious tomes, whichever one it may be - for the purpose of establishing the beliefs and practices of that religion. You probably don't agree with these opinions, but I hope you can at least agree with me, that my moniker, " Enigmatic" -suits me well!

afzal.. i wonder if you've read the Koran in Arabic?
apart from its importance as a holy book, it contains the best writing in the arabic language. nothing compares to its powerful language and the music woven in its words. It is a symphony and it deserves to be appreciated at its own merit with no regard for the rhetoric of the fanatics or bigots .

How tru that it is not the religion that is strong or weak. It's the believer and his or her conviction to that particular belief system.
