I totally agree
Both synthesis and analysis are important. I think people have grown tired of picking things apart, have grown tired of the questions and truths science presents us. Or maybe it's just a symptom of our immersion in entertainment (you can't think scientifically if your attention span lasts only two seconds).
It used to be that you could be a scientist and also have faith. Is it just me or are those two things more polarized than ever?

MsVision
Thoughtful post. Sciene and creativitiy go hand-in-hand in my opinon. And sometimes thinking swings toward one or the other and in the end it is balanced. I do agree however of the emphasis on science. I've not that kind of brain but certainly value those who have. --Joy!Mary
