Funny, this sounds a lot like driving I-5 between Seattle and Portland...
People are getting crazier and crazier on the road! But the fixes you found work well here, too!

Talkign abot who blows thehorn gets hte way, as SUVs invade the Indian road, they alng with the trcuks and buses, get way. I, for one, do not mess with vehicles bigger than me and happily make way for them! However, i cannot imagine Belgium being a driving challenge!!

Greenfields,
I suppose I can imagine how it must feel to drive in India. Not very much different than driving here in Belgium, where traffic is pretty crazy too. I once had a student from the USA in my NT2 class (that is where they study our language) and she was so afraid to drive a car in Dendermonde. To us that is nothing, compared to driving in Antwerp or Brussels. Or driving a car in LaPaz, Bolivia (which was quite easy, the one who could yell the loudest had the right of way...)

Yes, yes. And, as they say, if you can drive in India, you can drive anywhere. It really gives you a certain preparation. So much so, no driving is impossible, anywhere in the world! Cheers.

Attitude is in the mind, yes. Gee, must be really hard with the cows. I remember Rome, the traffic was crazy, but I thought Naples was the absolute worst. They triple and quadruple parked in the streets. Amazing! --Joy!Mary
