I highly agree with what Rae said. Some can never get over things.
Also... The best you can do is stand your ground. If you have to have contact at all. Try to be kind while still being firm in where you stand.

There will be people who give no workable solutions, either because they've
been hurt by our actions - unintentional or otherwise - and refuse to accept apologies, or else they are struggling with envy and/or emptiness in their own lives and cannot see beyond it. True friendship is usually impossible in these situations, often even civil discourse is too much to hope for. All we can do is wish them the best and then leave them alone. My view.
