Afzal
Here we have public education.  The schools are funded through taxes and we have busses to transport the students too and from school, when not within walking distance.

My mother believed education is the key to a better life,
She made our education her priority, although we were very poor and she had to sacrifice to buy decent clothes, school supplies, lunches, etc. I don't know how she did it, but she got us all through high school. In the U.S. children are required to attend school or receive home schooling to age 16. Kids start at age 4 with pre-school and kindergarten. Grades 1-5 are elementary school, middle school is grades 6 and 7 then high school - through grade 12.

The education system isn't that bad in Britain...most controversies around funding and providing an adaquote state education...class sizes and standards.....seems like we have alot less to worry about here than there is in India....good luck :)

afzal,
Malaysian students are a pampered lot. They are give free education and text books are provided. What more, pocket money is given by the Malaysian government to poor students plus free breakfast before lesson starts.

Many of these politicians could do a lot more for their people...
some simply do nothing ... especially here in Africa...
