Dolls, hits it right on..if we're looking for "perfect" love, we'll never
find it, but if we can accept love with its small imperfections, thats close, and certainly well worth not only receiving, but returning..

Good post, it got me thinking. Here is my view: It is unrealistic to expect perfection. True love is the acceptance of the whole, where imperfections are insignificant in relation to the affection that one feels.

i say ..
I once thought
my love was perfect
I once thought
my love was true
I was blinded by the curtains of perfection
I was lost in the maze of lies
Still.... I hope to find true beautiful love.
who doesn't?

Love is imperfect, but true.
I think love can be a mixture of a lot of things not necessarily virtuous. Love doesn't necessarily mean that it comes with all positive connotations either. Love can be selfish and destructive as easily as it can be all encompassing and embracing.
I do believe however in a perfect match. Again, not neccessarily meaning two alike people love each other, but two people compliment each other's similarities/differences and suit each other's emotional character/needs.
Lastly, I think love is quiet, not the neon lit, passionate, movie kind. It took me a long time to learn that.
