Tel - very interesting.
Although i have studied Spain and its history, I have been unaware till now of the Goya romance and the susana story. I suspect this may be where the names Susan and Susanna originated in western usage. Great examples of the passion, romance and bloodlust that was Spain - and maybe still is.
