Haven't been writing because I've been focused on work a bit too much. Which is good in a way, because it keeps me more in the here and now and not so immersed in my imagination. Immersion in my imagination is a catch 22 sometimes.

Thanks very much friend . And thanks for noticing the date thing! I got into a habit with that a long, long time ago and I think it's useful to know when a poem is written (I've even been known to write the time as well).
Yeah I am pretty determined. The poem's about fighting off your desires to try to gain clarity (but ending with exhaustion in the end). So the fight may or may not be worth it, it remains to be seen, but it's about making sure your desires are true before acting on them.

From what I have read of you, the gist garnered is of a will strong,
perhaps bullheaded...good for you, my friend. great poem; I like how you date your work, with the day of the month listed first then the month and year...good stuff all around.
