I like excel
and learnt kind of on the job. I can't however say I am good at it, but that's OK. I can manage.

Malcolm,
Spreadsheets like Lotus 1-2-3 and Excel are excellent programmes for database. I personally prefer Excel as it is very flexible and user friendly and can be used interchangably with Words. Good luck to you.

Yours job sounds strange to me. I'm not that big into computers. But, I can sense a great deal of integrity from you. Your company must be proud to have you.
