Love your posts my friend, and I use a pedometer every day but it can't speak. Just as well, I'd hate it lying to me and I'd have to trod on it.

I noticed that when I used a pedometer
I got lots of steps just for my tiny steps as I moved around turning this way and that while cooking, etc. If she shuffles it might read high?

I did a quick calculation. If we assume that the average length of her step is 20", that would be 118,940" = 1.88 miles (rounded off). But being a little old lady (although she does go through your garbage, lol), we might be safe in suggesting an average length of only 15" x 5947 = 89205 = 1.41 miles (rounded off). Roughly 1 1/5 miles per day for a spritely old girl doesn't seem too much...

I can't wait to find out if the old one was right or not. By the way, are those things easy to find and reasonably priced?

I first laughed at your title, because I thought you were telling us you wrote a 5,947 word post! LOL Now I find myself laughing at the words you and the Monster speak to one another without speaking. LMAO!
