Whooo!  That is scary, but it is the type of thing I do as well.  I dreamed last night that I'd had a best seller published - I just wish I could remember the plot.  As I commented to Whacky, we are going back to the same surgery on Thursday, but this time I'm taking slippers and padlocking my boots to the railing - and not looking in any mirrors.

Whacky
It certainly was, Whacky.  The scary part is we are going back there on Thursday.

you aren't going to believe this, but since I was busy commenting just before going to sleep, I dreamed about a lexus-L-shaped reception area, complete with a help-yourself espresso coffee machine. That's scary..

Hum...that was an experience that calls for some reflection.
Right?

I'm glad you liked it, Original.  Altogether it was the weirdest day.

Upon reflection, mneme, you couldn't outstay your welcome, and I'm glad I made you laugh.  It is quite funny in this part of Canada.  'Mirror' is pronounced 'Mir,' and the first time I heard it was at an auction.  I hadn't a clue what the auctioneer was talking about - come to think of it, I rarely do.

LOL,
that was definitely worth the read. I had no idea where you were going with that!

Well, you managed to make me laugh... I don't know about a frigid welcome, sound like a frigid dare to me (ho ho ho). Great writing, I had a clear sense of the scene. (I could add another pun and say it was a good reflective piece but I don't want to wear out my welcome..).
