Both are urdu words . Bata and Pata . ONe means to "say" and another means "let know" Thanks for your lovely cartoon .

I could figure out most of this, but "Bata" I learned as 'Patah' (accent?)
I always return to studying Hindi on the side (Or Bengali) especially in song and poetry because no translation can actuaaly capture the beauty of love expressed in the vernacular. Congrats Afzal and Sunny!
