Have you noticed, Spitfire, that by the time you've downloaded and
installed a new upgrade, allowed your computer to reboot, took a shower, watched a movie, and cooked yourself and family a nice five-course meal, that now there is an upgrade to your upgrade, just waiting to steal another block of precious hours from your life. And what's with those damned toolbar upgrades? How big and enhanced a toolbar do you really need anyway?

I had a friend who went through similar problems.
By the way. . . , once you go Mozilla (or Opera), you won't go back to stupid-pupid Microsoft IE.

I need to remember to stay away! My poor computer is going so slow these days anyway and I'm too computer illiterate to fix anything. (I can't even figure out how to get my speakers plugged in!)

Yep, it was "upgrading" my PC that crashed the damn thing.
There are some limitations and a learning curve when you switch to a Mac, but it's sooo much easier. I will never buy a PC again, except we may need to buy a used one for Isaac to do his homework on... but not if we find a good deal on a Mac desktop. Man, I do NOT miss the Toshiba days (although out of PCs that one was the worst). I can use IE if I want, but I don't. So I can't use Yahoo photomail and there are somethings that don't work, or some things I can't see on certain websites, but it's been minimal compared the pluses. It wouldn't matter, H, if you didn't have so much PORN on your computer! Geez. ::: shakes head :::

I just installed IE 7
Can't say I am crazy about it at all. I use my AOL browser more than IE or it would likely really have me nuts.

You are so right. I am sure that is what caused my crash last week. I had it redone everything new... E7 came back with downloads today just as you did and it is crazy as a loon. I am sure now that is what caused it. I spoke with my provider because it replaced my highspeed cable provider with a dial up MSN. I talked with people from Texas to India before I got clear. They always put out there products out before the bugs are worked out. It is not compatible with the Google taskbar it comes with. When I got rid of that it was going great so far. I finally called MSC and some guy took off the Google task bar, of course no one admitted it had a problem. Number if you want to fuss a bit at them for doing such silly things. I lost 3,600 photos I put on there to sort. In the sorting process they and the computer went.

I know, Jems.
I considered Firefox. I just haven't gotten around to it. I think I will! Hey, somebody's got a birthday coming up! Wonder who?
