I agree that education can go on one's entire life.
When Thomas Jefferson founded the University of Virginia, he called students 1st year, 2nd year, 3rd year, 4th year instead of freshman,...senior, because he thought you could never be a senior in your learning.

I don't think that religion in itself is a fundamental part of learning. Maybe spirituality. But I think there are very few that can actually "teach" us something in this reguard. I think that what we need to know, we can get or seek for ourselves.
