Most Interesting!

Thank you for sharing your historical knowledge. I found it most interesting! I recently returned from Northern Albania & Kosovo where I visited a holy mans shrine & found the experience most calming. I also learnt about Hezdret Ali, whom my husband holds dear in his heart. My husband decends from Shia Muslim although he is not a practicing Muslim at present, although he blesses prophet Muhammed. May praise be upon him!

Kindest Regards

afzal - "the rift between Shi-tes and Sunnis destroying Muslims?"
Whilst this may be true to a certain extend in war-torn countries like Iraq, in this modern day, surely the USA and it's coalition allies have contributed much to destabilise Islam in the middle East? They have exploited this difference to it's fullest. Here in South Africa, Muslims (Sunni/Shi-ite) are living in harmony whilst tolerating each other, Guess why? No foreign INTERFERENCE....Mr.Nelson Mandela & President Thabo MBeki are true and sincere leaders. Certainly a cut above the rest of the world's leaders.
