Oh no LLM they were your classic cosmetic style studs as in the ones stuck in ears, nipples, tongues etc.

She had her hair up and the studs were pressed directly into the back of her neck, into the skin, either side of her veterbrae. I've heard of all kinds of areas being pierced but that was the first time of seen something like that and it was intriguing.
