My parents did not complete high school; I admire both, however, equally

--again despite their faults. For inspiring me toward education, I thank all South African teachers of Indian origin. They were truly hardworking and selfless in the worst days of apartheid. Creative with almost othing in resources form a racist government, plus external 12th grade exams prepared and assessed by whites!! They helped us as if they were little versions of Gandhi and Martin Luther King!

Best wishes

afzal,
My half-sister, Mary Ann inspired me more than my own mother. Of course, mum inspired me too.

Afzal

I guess it all depends on what way we're talking about being inspired.  I haven't been inspired much in many things in life.

About 13 years ago, when I had a health club membership, I used to attend an aerobics class, instructed by this man....He had to be around 70 years old (at least), but he was built like a 25 year old.

He was loud and enthusiastic....more people attended his class than any of the others.  It was an hour long, and I always felt like I was gonna die at the end of it, hahaha.  But it was really worth it, because he really kept you wanting to be there. He often gave health tips as well.

Presley,
My father has influenced my thoughts more than any one else. Thanks.

My mother, of course!  She's been the most inspiring in terms of being positive and kind to others.  However, there are alot of others who have equally inspired me as it pertains to being inspired not to be like them!  What about you?  Where have you drawn most of your inspiration from?
