Afzal
I think you should post a list of the ten most idiosyncratic, peculiar, eccentric, and unconventional habits that you have noted since the first of the year to give us an idea of what you are referring to.  LOL

Afzal, I agree a lot with what stbond had said.
I know what your saying, and I also believe that I know where these feelings are coming from inside you.  I know that your love is serious, and you don't understand how others in life can be so casual.

The men you are talking about, who do these things without their wives knowledge, could do it because they are actually doing something wrong, or maybe because their spouse is so strict with them.

I know you don't see it this way, but people can have fun jokingly without having any attatchment or feelings for the other person, and many do this with the knowledge of their spouse, sometimes without any real problems.

Anyway....I know how you feel and I know how you are, and I love and respect you for everything that you are, always. Love You

I think we all have many facets. . .
that come out in different situations. I think most of us have surprised ourselves by suddenly feeling more talkative, giddy, silly, serious, philosophical, etc. than usual. However, if someone hides the many facets of their personality from those closest to them—children, spouse—then they are doing everyone a great disservice. Children want to play and laugh with their fathers as well as obey, and women want to feel that their marriage is still a romance.

If you have a sense of humor or a flirty, frivolous side, show it at home, too. There's nothing wrong with it if it is not a mask to help hasten a form of betrayal. No one deserves a parent or spouse or teacher or friend who always poses, eager to create a fearsome or rigid front. There's a time for fun and then, if children misbehave or important matters need to be considered, let the serious side come out.

hmmm, "idiosincracy" comes from the same root as "idiot", right??
as has already been said, a little "idio" is ok, as long as we know when to turn it off....

Hi !
Well I guess I'm one of them & it's good because We can interact with people from different level & learn from them regardless of age.Life is fun that way sometimes as long as we know where the line is.Any way there's always an advantage & disadvantage to everything.Well keep up learning about people because that is the greatest knowledge that are not being thought.

idiosyncracy
i  feel that it is ok toobserve people and learn from their so called idiosyncacies so that we evolve but try not to judge people. it takes all kinds to  make the world and each to his own.

I think unfortunately
that people such as those you describe dont truly KNOW themselves. Those that know themselves dont act differently depending on the audience, they are rather simply who they are.
