I should have.... the $2 ticket won $4; I bought two more with that a day or two later and lost. As you do. I'm still $2 up overall, which can't be bad.

I recieved a wrong number a few years ago, obviously a toddler playing with the phone. The mother quickly got on the line and apologized. I told her I understood and remarked how lucky she was the little on didn't call outside Memphis.
"Tennessee?" the woman asked.
"Yes."
It turned out she was in a small town outside of Portland, Oregon.

i strictly adhere to the belief that whatever happens as and when it happens is supposed to be just that way and always for your better. the dollars were a gift from above for comforting a lonely widow in some way.
