- Go to Jim Tripney?

LOL at the 'potential' - but your idea of looking at it from his point of view is novel and already has me wincing. I will look at your fiction blog tonight, Pat.

small universe, isn't it?
I've been working on a story about different planes of existence and a short convergence of them while stuck in the house because of ice and sleet storms. Hadn't intended to make this a commercial, but I posted it to my fiction blog in case you've got time for a look-see.
You may surprise yourself if you do a treatment of Jim Tripney -- tell the story from his point of view, dealing with smart-ass kids with potential. Might be fun.

Now that is eerie. I just finished saying to Ell that I'd better wear something warm for the -25C temperature. She looked at me as if I was nuts (close). "It is only a service, not a burial. The funeral will be in Spring." One lives - and dies? - and learns. I'd better go and try to start the car. See ya, mneme.

I hope not just a black hole - I'm not going to want to let go of my children so they might have me buzzing discreetly around for years to come. That's pretty scary.
- would that funeral include interrment? I'm only asking because an American friend once told me that in Massachusetts they can't dig the ground when it's frozen so bodies have to be stored until it's warmer. Or maybe she just thought I was gullible.

Life? The whole thing fills me with wonder, but my subconscious scares me almost to death sometimes with its convolutions. I wonder if death will be this interesting or just a black space. We are going to a funeral this morning in -25C. That should freeze my subconscious and my psychic energies.

perhaps it's psychic energies - the unconscious is a busybody, always at work behind the scenes. Makes life interesting doesn't it..

That is spooky, mneme. What gets my attention is why the name pops up when there isn't any definable reason why it should. It is a bit like thinking about something and your partner mentioning it at the same time - but there is nobody there. eerie.

interesting question... I wonder about these things too. I also find people popping up in the memory for no reason. A few nights ago I dreamed about someone I haven't heard from in a while and whom I wrote to at Christmas. So I rang her just yesterday; she told me she was carrying my letter around in her handbag.
