I agree. Considering that Michigan got slaughtered by SoCal in the Rose Bowl, it would have been a travesty if Florida had not been jumped to #2 for the BCS Championship game. A plyoff system would eliminate these problems. Who knows, undefeated Boise St. might have played their way into the title game. They probably would have given Florida a better battle.

I'm glad I'm not alone in my indignation. I still believe in "innocent until proven guilty," especially when my fellow sportswriters are trying to retroactively penalize a man for an unproven offense that wasn't even a crime in his sport at the time.

Well, at least Florida didn’t get left stuck in the #3 spot without a
chance to beat Ohio State! Seems there’s some justice in the world.
