Wonderfully written post Afzal! I am inclined to believe it is
philosophy, which leads us to the concept we call religion! Plato's questions led Aristotle to greater questions, which led Augustine and Thomas to more questions which led Christians to many answers we find in the faith Tradition we call Catholocism. without Plato's philosophy would the Catholic belief system be what it is? Had Martin Luther not become absorbed in philosophical questionnning, which led him to answers with which he disagreed, would we now have all the variations of Christian religions we have today? Sorry, didn't mean to ramble on! Good thought-provoking post.

Good post Afzal...in my opinion philosophy allows us to think for ourselves
Religion tells us what we should think! I absolutely believe in God I just don't believe in organized religion....it separates people!
