Thanks for popping in - what a lot of coffee addicts we have!
I'm partial to it myself, i must admit, but am trying to switch at least partly to green tea. Much healthier and surprisingly tasty. Maybe i'll write about this today, seeing as everyone seems to like talking about it!

Great comments - thanks everyone.
Whinge - get thee behind me. Mike - I didn't see it, but I saw the amazing scoreline afterwards. Pity that wasn't one of the live cup matches.

You're too polite...
Here in Texas, we're not so reserved. I would have gone to the host (or whoever seemed in charge of that) and said, "Hey, you got anything hot to drink here?"

We're having similar weather here on the West Coast... being beaten to death with wind and rain. What makes us think an umbrella will even withstand such weather? Sorry you had to wait so long for a warm cup of java to take the chill off.....

Tony if that's the case, do you reckon if I drink enough water I'll get

Hi Smartdog - you're back!
Yes, it really was like that. That's the great thing about poetry, or painting (which i can't do) - just to preserve those funny little images you notice as you go along.
