Dinner is always flexible here - depends on who's home. We were later than usual.. and I am so tired I'm off to bed. Goodnight, hope the girls give you a peaceful night.

Ahh...dinner...we ate early...because it was an early night for the girls...they had been up late last night dealing with the latest drama...

Perfect....now if I could just get the 2 yr old and 5 yr old on board....(they are the hardest sell...lol)

there you go.. you and the 2-year-old "have a nap" while the 5-year-old reads to you both.  Parenting - it's a snip.

LOL...no I guess you can't put adults down for a nap....but I bet they would be much easier to go down if you could....(I know I would love nap time...and my 2 year old is fighting them...)

I think the difference between exhausting adults and exhausting children is that the adults are no fun :) And you can't put them down for a nap.

Its the adults that I find exhausting...lol..(ok, kids do too sometimes)

yesw, that's certainly true when you have little ones...! Exhausting, but fun.

Sometimes the fact that you made it through to the end of the day is accomplishment enough...

that sounds encouraging - good luck. And I know what you mean about too early for thinking. I'm almost at the wrong end of a long day again and feel like I did very little today.

...also..found out today that there is just one more signature needed for my ERD...so should have an answer soon...

..and then there is also the too early for thinking...there is actually a very limited number of hours in the day that is "thinking time"...lol...

judging by the little ones in the audience when I saw it, the kids will love it. There's a clip on YouTube. Might even be out on DVD where you are, but is new here. It's animation, and very funny.

PS
Has anyone seen Flushed Away yet? Look out for a nice "RiverDance" moment towards the end - very clever.
