I suppose what I'm worried about is the possibility that some may take this as being let off the hook and not being accountable for their actions. I know people like that, who seem to assume nothing sticks to them.

thinking about this sort of thing earlier, then reading this, I have a real problem with the concept of starting each day fresh and living in the "now" if that involves overlooking unacceptable behaviour which has not been properly addressed, and which shows no signs of any will to change. (I hope I'm not ranting here). If I think some more, I guess this can only really apply to ourselves as individuals, because you can't change other people, only they can do that.
