I agree afzal, balance in all things stops you from falling, except that is from the unseen push. Interesting post as always Sir

i, too, have slight disagreements. the blind and the wheelchair bound are
often shining examples of the very point you're trying to make - mind over matter and determination of heart allow them to accomplish just as much as any full-bodied person.
a highly intelligent person, while socially inept, is still capable of changing the world with inventions and thoughts that help us see things in a new light, and even the lowest iq'd person is capable of affecting change by the outpouring of love from the heart.
but i absolutely agree that we each have our own balances and it's important to recognize when one is overwhelming the other or, as i myself have so often done, we get way off track!

It is a misconception that “emotion” carries a singular definition such as passion. In fact, emotions can impact morality, cognitive thinking, intention, or the way in which we view our self and the world. Emotion and intellect, as you said, are interdependent. Many people recognize the need for the two to be aligned.

Hmmm..I think I would have to disagree with you at least somewhat. I've known people to get by on less intellect than some others.
I think emotion is always better... our minds are not as good at judging right from wrong as our bodies are at feeling right from wrong.
And I guess, depending on how you look at it, both intellect and emotion can both be played in a negative manner. It would require a lot of thought and time. We will have to talk about this sometime. Good Night Sweetie.
