Lovely. I hardly ever used to go back though, always seeking somewhere
new to explore. That was until I found Keswick, then I realised why people do go back to the same place over and over. It's because they've found the soul's home.

Thanks SoloVale and TAPS - it allowed me to dream, too.
If we can't go somewhere, why not talk about these places instead?

Thanks everyone - much appreciated comments!
Tomorrow I am either going to post at 5.30 am my time, or not at all till the following day, depending on how I feel. I've got to get up real early and go out by 6.30. If I don't feel creative first thang in the mornang, I'll write it in my book while I'm away for the night, and post two sonnets tomorrow. Good night ye merry minstrels!

A Homeland Special!
Santa Lucia and River Shannon Moon tripping the light fantastic on the sidewalks of so many dear places.  Makes me want to sail up the Skagerrak and down the Kattegat, then clink and drink one down!

thanks Star, Lion and Troosha
I always have itchy feet. Even going out for a drive on impulse somewhere is something I love to do, but rarely do nonetheless. Silly really. These are some of my favourite places I've been to  - deliberately written in a slightly old-fashioned style, for a change.

Tony
Daydreams of places been or places wanting to go.  Do have itchy feet today?  Gorgeous sonnet......  it takes us to our personal places within our daydreams.
