No better way to get a cold,

At least from what I'm told,

Than from an innocent stroll

Under the missletoe.

Sad about your cold, but it was kind of you not to inflict it on coworkers, heehee. I hope you are feeling better by now though!! ;-;

TAPS and Mneme - thanks for stopping by.
My cold has stabilised - the whites are beating off the invading heathen. But I'm still too ill to go to work, so here I am, what else, blogging!! Thanks for daring to set foot in my germ-infested site!

Tonyzonit

Tonyzonit
I love your explanation of the red and white blood cells fighting against the heathen invader virus.

Hi Star
I've had some juice this morning, and I'm having a cup of coffee, but after that it's juice and water all day, I promise!

Poor Tony, i still had not paid you a visit...

I was a little tied up, you see
by someone at the end of the line
who talked and talked from their nose
i did not dare say nay, I've got to go read Tonyzonit
I heard the sonnet call, and came back right away
to investigate the intrusion of the great British bug
King of the Sonnet, I love your little germs jumping about
all over your snout, i could almost "hear them", you see, although
i could not see  of course, but hey that might be yet to come
What a delightfull way of putting it. i agree with Troosha, it is a hoot.

Thanks everyone, including the Bhaskar twins!
I feel a bit chesty now. Am not in best of health but am looking forward to another day off work tomorrow. I bet huge numbers of people took today off anyway after the late night and the hangovers etc. so it's hardly a crime!

Tony
Not a nice way to start the new year - with a cold, that is.  Hope those rubber-necking red cells (that was a hoot) make friends with the multiplying white.

When I sneeze, I send my germs out to investigate other humans as a
possible breeding ground. It's very kind of me, isn't it?
