Are you aware that Rick Pitino hates dogs?  He especially can't stand the little yappy ones that wear pretty bows and want to get in everyone's lap to be petted.

Haven’t seen Akeelah and the Bee (what is it). My post was a piece I have hanging in my kitchen and I originally dug it out when my teen at the time was going through a period of thinking she didn’t deserve more. She was in an abusive relationship and I was trying every way I could to inspire her to shine and not take any shit from anyone.

See, I think you and I have a lot in common. I believed my

really hot string professor had been eyeing me all semester, when she pretended to speak to the whole class. (I had a monstrous crush on her for the longest time!)

Happy New Year!

You must be the only person who is of ideal weight or you don't give a r.a. Admirable goals - yes indeed 'cause I'm close to the latter option of not giving a hoo-ha.  But there's my husband to think of.... he'd be sad...and he likes less of my hoo anyway.

Who's Rick Pitino?

the slightest whiff?  OMG.

Walking with my baby boy & his monster thru the Capitol Hill area of Seattle one day -- I miss Seattle and my son -- we passed a very pregnant young mother pushing a stroller containing a lap child, and hanging on, another, 4 or 5 years old.

Son curled his lip and said something about "breeders," apparently forgetting his mom was alongside. I laughed.  Just remember, you're number six, I said. You need to give breeders a break. He just looked at me and said What were you thinking?

Joe_Love, ha! Those sound
like exciting resolutions! Mine were much more... boring.  Tractor pulls? Fish fries?  Here we have Bog-Offs.  It's a festival where people make Chicken Bog, and they have contests to see whose is the best. They also have beauty pageants, but all the dance class moms tell me they are rigged.  It's hilarious.  Good luck with your resolutions and Happy New Year

So Rick Pitino has been glancing up at you, has he?  Always enjoy reading your vibrant humour and unfolding life in Bumfolk. You make me smile.

omg, Katray, I'm glad you caught that. After reading what I had written,
I was thinking. . . , "ohhhhhhh!  That is soooooo NASTY!"  lol  Then, I decided to go on and keep it in the story anyway.  *grin*  Thanks for letting me know that you thought it was funny.

Joe Love,

since I don't like basketball, I can't give you any advice on how to lasso that coach! Dunk?...Oh. what the hell! And I have only one N.Y.'s resolution to make, i.e. not to make any N.Y. resolutions! I am sick and tired of disappointing myself!

Meanwhile, a Happy New Year to you, the Monster and the doggies (and I hope you don't expect me to remember their names this late in the year...)

LOL @ Holy Grail
good point... there is still no explaination of what Joe intends to do about The Monster when Rick moves in.

Will you be taking him to a tractor-pull?  (Whilst The Monster is at a fish-fry, no doubt?)  Funny stuff. Happy New Year!!

One must always have goals my dear

do keep in mind; Joann the bitch will take him for all of his money and you will end up supporting him.    Though I am quite sure you can get your own talk show and bump Rachel Ray and her candle murdering torch off of my TV!

Now that I have done my good deed for the day, I'm off for a bath.
