fourcats,
It is better to hurt little in the beginning than to cause greater injury later. Thanks.

Good post but recall that constructive criticism gets better reception than harmful negative condemnation.

A person could stand up and say they hate just about every sort of minority in the world and it wouldn't hurt my feelings in the least. After all ... I'm not a minority. But a man who speaks against his wife, or who says he wants children even though he has no wife, is a man with a serious personality flaw. We cannot rightfully keep silent when men become such beasts and users.

merry christmas to you, afzal.
i have caused myself more problems throughout the years because of not speaking my truth, not speaking it because of worrying about how it might affect others. so i never got what i wanted and my heart was filled with untruths.
so i learned to speak how i felt. then i hurt people's feelings. i am trying to learn how to say things that express myself without those words being hurtful.

Yes, it is always better to be open with someone, provided that the other person can handle the truth.
I used to keep a lot inside during my younger years, due to self esteem issues. You know that when I met you, I let my guard down, I told you exactly what I had been thinking/feeling about you. I answered all of your questions as honestly that I knew how to.
Life is too short to let rare opportunities pass you by. I will be forever thankful that this opportunity wasn't passed. I love you. Merry Christmas
